GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
Auvent Saint Remois: Entity in its capacity as a holiday rental that offers its seasonal rental services.
Customer or client: Any user of the website who orders, purchases or reserves the Products and services offered published on the Auvent Saint Remois website.
Advertisement: Internet page that details the characteristics of the holiday rental or of a product or service with a (detailed) description, characteristics, photos, videos, availability schedule and rates.

- RATES (2 types of rates can be offered):
A conditionally refundable rate with a deposit payment of 20% of the rental price and services. This is due immediately when booking. The balance must be paid 4 weeks before the start of the stay. For bookings made less than 4 weeks before the start of the stay, the full price of the stay must be paid immediately.
In the case of a non-refundable fare or a promotion, the full price of the trip must be paid immediately.
- PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION IN CASE OF LATE PAYMENT
If the deposit and/or balance due are not paid by the agreed due date, Auvent Saint Remois is entitled to cancel the booking, after a payment reminder, and to charge you a cancellation fee, in accordance with the cancellation conditions
- ANCILLARY COSTS
According to the case law, the fixed costs and compulsory costs that must be paid are included in the price of the reservation. Variable costs depending on the number of travellers or consumption, such as tourist tax (regulated), linen and towels, including cleaning, are paid with the reservation. Any additional costs such as change of linen and towels, additional cleaning, pool heating costs, additional services can be paid with the booking or on site. The tourist tax is regulated and currently as a rule children under 18 years of age are exempt.
- SECURITY DEPOSIT / INSURANCE
A security deposit will be requested by credit card pre-authorisation.
The deposit will be reimbursed after the rented object has been returned in due form. The maximum delai for reimbursement is 7 days. In some cases, the deposit can be refunded by bank transfer after the departure of the clients. The refund does not exclude any claims for damages.
The client is responsible for any damage caused during his stay (unless this is due to normal wear and tear or a defect in the equipment) and for certain risks associated with his presence (fire, water damage, etc.) for which he must be insured.
In the event of breakage or damage, your insurance can contact Auvent Saint Remois.
- ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE
On the day of your arrival, the accommodation is available from 5 p.m. and on the day of your departure, it must be vacated before 10 a.m. (we can carry out an inventory of fixtures with you between 8 a.m. and 9.30 a.m.)

- OCCUPANCY OF THE HOLIDAY HOME
The maximum number of persons stated includes children and babies.
If the number of persons is exceeded, Auvent Saint Remois is entitled to recalculate the rent on a pro rata basis, adding any incidental costs. In case of non-compliance with the general sales conditions we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and refuse entry, if needed with the help of the competent authorities.
- OBLIGATIONS OF THE CLIENT, PRESENCE AND SUBLETTING
The person making the booking must be one of the occupants of the accommodation. If the booking is made by a legal entity, the name of the representative who will occupy the accommodation must be communicated at the time of booking. If these conditions are not respected, we consider the reservation invalid, the total amount of the reservation is due and retained by Auvent Saint Remois. The person (legal entity) making the booking must imperatively communicate the names and ages of the persons who will occupy the holiday accommodation so that we can communicate the names to the competent authorities in case of a request from them.
Sub-letting is strictly forbidden, we will have the persons evicted by the competent authorities without any damages, the amounts paid will not be refunded.
- CLEANING AND PREPARATION FOR DEPARTURE BY EACH CLIENT
The client shall clean the holiday home, independently of the final cleaning included in the price and carried out by the landlord. This cleaning by the client consists of cleaning the kitchen area, washing and putting away the dishes, removing all remaining food and waste, putting the rubbish and bottles in the city rubbish containers and removing the sheets. The final cleaning carried out at Auvent Saint Remois by includes deep cleaning and disinfection, according to the rules concerning Covid-19, of each kitchen/kitchenette, each bathroom/shower/WC, and the washing of the floors. We do not deposit your garbage and bottles. If the accommodation is left extremely dirty we reserve the right to charge the extra cost of cleaning in addition to the final cleaning included.
- BED LINEN, TOWELS AND OUTDOOR TOWELS
Bed linen and towels (bathroom) are included for the number of persons staying. Pool and beach towels are not provided. If you are renting the house with fewer people than the maximum occupancy, bed linen and towels are provided for the number of people known at the time of booking. Additional linen and towels may be charged extra on site.
- BABY BEDS
Baby cots are generally suitable for children under 2 years of age and must in be ordered at the time of booking and confirmed by Auvent Saint Remois.
Pets are not allowed, if pets are brought in without permission, Auvent Saint Remois can demand the removal of the pets.
- SPECIAL CONDITIONS AND REMARKS
Unfortunately, the services we offer are not suitable for people with reduced mobility. We will be happy to provide you with information on this subject.
- CANCELLATION CONDITIONS FOR CONDITIONALLY REFUNDABLE RATES
Cancellation free of charge up to 90 days before the start of your stay.
Cancellation with the following charges for arrivals less than 90 days before the start of your stay:
20% of the total amount of the rental excluding tourist taxes for a cancellation between 89 and 60 days
50% of the total amount of the rental excluding taxes for a cancellation between 59 and 30 days
A fee of 95% of the total rental price excluding tourist tax for cancellations between 29 and 7 days
The full price of the trip will be charged in case of cancellation at least 6 days before the start of your stay.
Bookings with non-refundable rates are not (partially) refundable under any circumstances
The customer can take out travel and cancellation insurance (e.g. with Europ Assistance) which will examine whether the reasons for cancellation are valid for a partial or full refund.
A change of booking is only possible if there is availability. The rate and costs for the change request may vary and must be agreed by the client before any change is approved by Auvent Saint Remois.
- NO-SHOW OF THE CUSTOMER
If the customer fails to show up without having informed Auvent Saint Remois, we will contact the customer. If Auvent Saint Remois cannot reach the customer or the customer does not reach out within 24 hours of the start date of the stay, the reservation will be cancelled and the accommodation will be released from its obligations. The full amount of the reservation remains due and will be retained by Auvent Saint Remois.
- DEPARTURE BEFORE THE END OF THE STAY.
In the event of early departure before the end of the planned date, no pro rata refund is provided.
The client may take out travel and cancellation insurance which will consider whether the reasons for early departure are valid for a partial or full refund.
- CHANGES TO THE ACCOMMODATION
Neither L'Auvent Saint Remois nor the client has the right to modify the accommodation or its equipment during the stay, except by mutual written agreement or for the replacement by L'Auvent Saint Remois of a defective appliance.
